Is there a certain principal from the Text which has taken on a life of its own long after the two-week session ends; becoming a regular companion, tapping on your shoulder from time to time? We will explore the quality of this tapping compared to other inner urges, sharpening discrimination. Can we be more proactive in what we feed and what we starve in our thoughts and affections?

Participants were asked to bring an example of a Text snippet that is still sticking. For further enrichment in this preparation, they were offered
- The Contest; I Kings 18:17-41

Psalm references and quotes from the Writings: Click to download
The Bible mentions the activity of watching or keeping watch in both Old and New Testaments. This poses the question of what is being watched and in what context. This session is divided into two sections; the first being focused on the Lord/Word as the Watchman and the second looking at human beings focus on keeping watch.

Each section has a short introduction followed by personal space for reflection which you can follow along with as you view the recording. It could involve writing and/or drawing. Or it could be a space for just being immersed in the Word. Biblical passages are used as a structure and framework for self-reflection and participants are encouraged to go with whatever arises in the moment.

This presentation takes a closer look at the garden of Eden and of the human that is described there. It explores the concept of the 'garden consciousness' and of the sacred work we are given in the tending and care of it. Join us as we investigate the underlying nature of our sense of self and how it changes through our participation in the Word as the basis for our spiritual life. Genesis 2:16-17. And instructing is Yahweh Elohim the human, saying, "From every tree of the garden, you are to eat, yea, eat. Yet from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you are not to be eating from it, for in the day you eat from it, to die shall you be dying.

Jesus Christ is the Logos that is living. Jesus Christ and the Word, are one and the same. Each offers a different manifestation of the Divine Human but presents the same origin. This presentation will explore the distinction of origin and manifestation in more depth, specifically in relation to divine revelation as it unfolds and is perceived in the finite experience, and of how a confounding of the two is at the root of all human suffering.
