Session 3: The Watchman - Keeping Watch (Helen Brown)
4am USA EST (Friday 12th)

The Bible mentions the activity of watching or keeping watch in both Old and New Testaments. This poses the question of what is being watched and in what context. This session will be divided into two sections; the first being focused on the Lord/Word as the Watchman and the second looking at human beings focus on keeping watch.
Each section will have a short introduction followed by personal space for reflection which could involve writing and/or drawing. Or it could be a space for just being immersed in theWord. There will be time for sharing in the group. Biblical passages will be used as a structure and framework for self-reflection and participants are encouraged to go with whatever arises in the moment.

Session 4: Moving From a 'Self' to an ‘As-of-Self' (David Millar)
2pm USA EST (Friday 12th)

We begin our inner journey with the two trees in Eden's garden before moving to Gethsemani and onto our destination, the tree of life on either side of the river of the water of life in Revelation Chpt. 22. In doing this we will be tracking the regenerative process in its movement from, "no-self," to an "independent-self" onto an "as-of-self." Join us as we investigate the underlying nature of our sense of self and how it changes through our participation in the Word as the basis for our spiritual life.
