Could you please comment on the difference between “The Proprium” and the “As of Self”?
Hi Ian – my take is that the infernal proprium is based in believing the appearance that the feeling of life we have originates in our self. So this belief if held rejects the very principle of “as of self,” thus the sense of self existing from this belief directly contradicts what the Word teaches. This is what is meant by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
