You are invited to join this workshop, facilitated by Sarah Walker.

One of the challenges in Logopraxis, in working with Sacred Scripture and the Heavenly Doctrine, is to see just how the Text is referring to the life of our mind; to our thoughts and affections. Once this becomes more clear then it becomes easier to see how we can set up opportunities to practice observing what is described – which is basically what a Logopraxis task is . We are looking to see how what the Word says is true…. IS true. So we are looking to have the Word affirmed as the authority of truth in our life.

And we’re doing all of this from the acknowledgment that the Word is what the Lord has provided as the means for our regeneration; as our connection and conjunction with the Lord … because it IS the Lord . It is the Divine in a form that is flesh: its words are able to enter into our mind as the Lord and to set about changes in its structure, so that more of the Divine life can flow in and be received. If we are willing to return to it and let Him work with us.

In this workshop:

• We are going to explore some simple terms that are frequently used in the Heavenly Doctrine.
• We are then going to work in small groups to see how working with these terms as descriptions of spiritual process, can open up new ways of seeing the Heavenly Doctrine and Sacred Scripture as texts that describe the life of our mind; that describe the process of the truth of the Word unfolding for us.
• It is my hope that this group exploring experience with these terms, will inspire and complement each individual’s own practice with the Text.
